Why I Came to ISTE by C. Turner
I came to ISTE to gather new ideas and resources to enhance educational opportunities for learners I my classes. I teach in Winnipeg, Manitoba Canada at a suburban high school that has a BYOD policy. Since there is no consistent plan for devices it is a bit challenging to deliver and receive content consistently.
Why I came to ISTE by Kathy Edgar
I came to ISTE to network with awesome Instructional Technology educators from all countries. In addition, the exhibit hall offers so many demo's of products. The poster section offers a glimpse of student work first hand. The BYOD sessions offer so much.

Why I came to ISTE?
I wanted to come to ISTE for ideas, to be surrounded by like-minded individuals, to be inspired, to fit in everything I possibly can to my brain and time...and to bring it all back after a bit of reflection to my school.

I came to ISTE to re-energize. Being the only tech in a building is a lonely experience--this is what I do to fill my own bucket so I have new things to share with my teachers back home. 😊
